Jefffporter 12 Mar 2015 If you live in Fleet and need household hardware etc you will get brilliant customer service, advice and find the precise item you need at a reasonable price. No queueing for an uninterested Saturday boy/girl at B&Q till at Bakers. You may wait a short while for the next free attendant on A Saturday but it is always worth it. It is pure old fashioned service. |

artybird 21 Nov 2014 Have been going to Bakers for almost 50 years - an amazing shop and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Buy from them rather than the internet - pennies more expensive but a visit is a treat! |

jshfleet 11 Jul 2014 Just off to Baker's to get some replacement strimmer line and may pick up my Harvey's block salt at the same time. Always worth getting a price for an item because they can be quite competitive with online prices when you add the postage costs. |

jacquelineanna 06 May 2014 These guys went beyond normal customer service today. They didn't just sell me a door handle and send me home to try and re-fit it, they took my old one with the broken handle and almost refurbished it with the parts from a new one so that I only had to screw it all back into place. Priceless service! Thank you Baker & Son, Jacqueline |

Talksy 18 Jun 2013 What a shop! They seem to have everything and know so much about all the many items that they sell. Need an odd light bulb or a sink plug or even a new teapot? They will find you just what you are looking for. It is a wonderful shopping experience. |

21 Feb 2011 Good old fashioned family run hardware shop. Buckets, screws, fertiliser, curtain rail, light bulbs - you name it, they have got it or can get it. With good old fashioned polite customer service as well, and the prices are great as well. Cheapest place I have found to get a key cut. |
